How to make a Kusadama flower.

image1.jpg
Take a square piece of paper of any size.
( I have used 15cm)
image2.jpg
Fold in half, corner to corner.
image3.jpg
Bring the left and right hand corners up to the top centre corner.
image4.jpg
Next, fold the left and right corners down, to meet the edge of the paper.
image5.jpg
Flatten the flaps, use your finger to open them up and then squash carefully so it looks like this.
image6.jpg
Fold the triangles down.
image6b.jpg
Fold the triangles back the other way tucking them inside.
image7.jpg
Your petal should now look like this.
image8.jpg
Refold the side flaps and put glue along the edge (shown in Black) and bring both edges together.
image9.jpg
Your first petal. Now repeat and make 4 more petals.
image10.jpg
Glue all five petals and use a stick, pipe cleaner etc for the stalk.
Your finished Kusadama flower.

If you don’t have any paper then junk mail works very well also.

We would love to see your finished flowers.

If you would like to email me any photos then we will be able to put them on the website.
